Our President, James Johnson, is a U.S. Navy veteran and has held a variety of positions in the industry over the years to include working for a major barge line, managing marine repair yards and terminals and working in salvage industry. Jim now serves as the Founder and President of Johnson Marine Services, overseeing all of our day-to-day operations.

Our Principal Surveyor, Jeffrey Johnson, is a U.S. Navy veteran. He is certified by the National Association of Marine Surveyors and has successfully completed training in the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practices. Jeff has 20 years of experience in the maritime industry and is currently serving as the Vice President of Johnson Marine Services.

Joshua Johnson, grandson of Jim Johnson and son of Kimberly Johnson, currently works on our team surveying and developing our marketing and photography divisions. Josh has completed his bachelors degree in Ministerial Leadership through Southeastern University and is attending LSU to gain a bachelor’s degree in Marketing.

Hunter Svetanics, grandson of Jim Johnson and son of Kimberly Johnson, operates the Aerial Division of Johnson Marine Services. In 2019, Hunter received his Drone Pilot’s License from the FAA and continues to serve the needs of Johnson Marine and their clients.
